The illustrious American writer 'Paul Auster', stayed 3 months (spring of 2006) in our amazing Villla filming his romantic-mystery drama film 'Inner Life of Martin Frost, starred from known actor such as David Thewlis, Irène Jacob, Michael Imperioli and Sophie Auster.

*The space*
From gorgeous views to artsy décor, everywhere you look is a feast for your eyes.
The living room is wonderfully decorated and perfect to read a book in front of the fireplace or hang out with your family and friends. It is furnished with 3 sofas, 2 armchairs and a digital TV connected to international channels and Netflix for your comfort and entertainment.
In the dining area, will find the interior table with 14 seats and the outside table with more 12 seats with access to our 2 barbecues. And we can make a bet… this will be the spot that you will spend the most time during your stay with us.
We have also a fully equipped kitchen and if you enjoy cooking, you’re going to love spending time in the stylish kitchen. All the appliances are modern and easy to use - you’ll enjoy showing off your culinary skills here!
Our home is complete with hotel quality linen, fresh towels and complimentary toiletries to make your stay all the more comfortable and enjoyable!

The Villa is 4 minutes walking from the picturesque village of Azenhas do Mar, 10 minutes by car from Praia Grande and 18 minutes by car to the Sintra Village centre, the first European site listed by UNESCO as a Cultural Landscape.
Nearby you can enjoy the cuisine of about 15 restaurants that compete with each other for the best and freshest atlantic ocean fish.
In the 'saloio' market you will also find the freshest fish caught from the local fisherman, organic fruits and vegetables provided from the local farmers and the best and international famous ‘Colares’ wines.
For nightlife, you may find several bars in Praia das Maças or visit “Aldeia da Praia” a local experiences hub such as surfing, yoga, food, music, supermarket, sunsets, volleyball, drink and playground.
Nearby you can visit a circular Roman chapel unique all over the world, where an annual cattle blessing fair has been held for 500 years.
In 20 minutes by car you can visit the magnificent view of the most westerly point of Europe, 'Cabo da Roca' and following the same road over 8km you can try your luck at the Estoril Casino.

Der berühmte amerikanische Schriftsteller Paul Auster hielt sich im Frühjahr 2006 drei Monate lang in unserem wunderschönen Villla auf, um seinen romantisch-mysteriösen Film "Das Innenleben von Martin Frost" zu drehen, in dem bekannte Schauspieler wie David Thewlis, Irène Jacob, Michael Imperioli und Sophie Auster mitspielen.

Das Wohnzimmer ist wunderschön eingerichtet und eignet sich perfekt, um vor dem Kamin ein Buch zu lesen oder mit der Familie und Freunden zusammenzusitzen. Es ist mit 3 Sofas, 2 Sesseln und einem Digitalfernseher mit internationalen Kanälen und Netflix für Ihren Komfort und Ihre Unterhaltung ausgestattet.
Im Essbereich finden Sie den Innentisch mit 14 Plätzen und den Außentisch mit weiteren 12 Plätzen mit Zugang zu unseren 2 Grills. Und wir können eine Wette eingehen... dies wird der Ort sein, an dem Sie die meiste Zeit während Ihres Aufenthalts bei uns verbringen werden.
Wir haben auch eine voll ausgestattete Küche und wenn Sie gerne kochen, werden Sie es lieben, Zeit in der stilvollen Küche zu verbringen. Alle Geräte sind modern und einfach zu bedienen - Sie werden Ihre Kochkünste hier gerne unter Beweis stellen!

Die Villa liegt 4 Minuten zu Fuß vom malerischen Dorf Azenhas do Mar, 10 Minuten mit dem Auto von Praia Grande und 18 Minuten mit dem Auto vom Zentrum des Dorfes Sintra entfernt, dem ersten europäischen Ort, der von der UNESCO als Kulturlandschaft ausgezeichnet wurde.
In der Nähe können Sie die Küche von etwa 15 Restaurants genießen, die miteinander um den besten und frischesten Fisch aus dem Atlantik konkurrieren.
Auf dem Markt "Saloio" finden Sie den frischesten Fisch der örtlichen Fischer, Bio-Obst und -Gemüse von den örtlichen Bauern und die besten und international bekannten "Colares"-Weine.
Für das Nachtleben finden Sie mehrere Bars in Praia das Maças oder besuchen Sie die "Aldeia da Praia", ein Zentrum für lokale Erlebnisse wie Surfen, Yoga, Essen, Musik, Supermarkt, Sonnenuntergänge, Volleyball, Getränke und Spielplatz.
In der Nähe können Sie eine weltweit einzigartige kreisförmige römische Kapelle besichtigen, in der seit 500 Jahren eine jährliche Viehsegnungsmesse abgehalten wird.
